(Top ten continues. This was a late entry, but catchy as hell. Er, if hell was catchy. Oh, whatever, just accept the metaphor and move on. Wait, not a metaphor. A simile, since I am using "like" or "as" to do a comparison (thank you, Joel, from The Cat Ate My Gymsuit by Paula Danziger*). But I'm not doing a comparison, either, am I? More a turn of phrase. Is that even called anything? Well, other than "turn of phrase.")
Oh, dear god, I am annoying (and boring) myself with the tangents, now. Moving on...)
I liked this even *before* I realized it was (a) fronted by my own particular Achilles heel type of skinny boy (b)who happened to be the previous front man for The Format, whom I knew of through a couple of songs of theirs, before they disbanded, and who were exactly the right type of band to have my particular Achilles heel type of skinny boy singing lead.
Did that make any sense? Probably not. Maybe I should've thrown a simile in there.
All The Pretty Girls - fun!
*Aw, man. Decided to look up Paula Danziger to see if she'd written anything else, lately, and found out she died five years ago, at 59, of complications following a heart attack. Crap.
