Sister, sister

Although she was the younger sister, Jenny was the first Boyd girl to inspire a song, when singer Donovan fell in love with her and wrote this song about her:

Jenny Juniper - Donovan

Not to be outdone, sister Pattie went to inspire then husband George Harrison to write this about her:

Something - The Beatles

And then took sibling rivalry a step further by inspiring yet another rocker to sing an ode to her. You may have heard of him and the song:

Layla - Derek and The Dominoes

What none of these guys realized is, the way to a woman's heart--or at least this family's women's hearts--wasn't through some lovelorn musical tribute. Jenny dumped Donovan for Mick Fleetwood--whom she married not once, but twice, finally divorcing him for good after the second time--and Pattie was with Eric for a good while, after George, but she finally moved on, too. I might have, too, if my guy took a little dig at me and my tendency to procrastinate, all under the guise of love:

Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton
