I'd be remiss in posting about Don't Look Back in Anger and not mentioning one of the well known and often cited facts about the song. No, not that it is potentially one of the Oasis songs most reminiscent of The Beatles, and specifically the work by John. (Let's not use the word derivative or plagiarized, shall we? No need to get ugly about what is, at the end of the day, a pretty damn good song.)
No, I am talking about the ever present, ever dominant hand of perhaps the most influential forefather of rock 'n' roll. Another John, from another time : Johann Pachelbel.
(I know this was posted to death everywhere when it first came out, but you know what? It's still pretty damn funny, a couple of years later.)
