Taking stock

My subconcious must have been nagging at me to remember that yesterday was the 40th anniversary of the Woodstock festival, because this song suddenly popped into my head out of nowhere about five days ago, and I've been humming it since.

As an aside, we like Arlo in this household. I can't get over how freaking young and pinch-his-cheek-cute he is at Woodstock, with his "Far out!"s and "Can you dig it?"s.

Here is another version, from a few years later, with the typical Arlo Guthrie preamble. Followed by another recent one, also reminiscing about Woodstock (the film, this time). Plus, how awesome is his white cotton-wool hair? Hee.
