Love in an elevator

Didn't know until recently that a song I like (by a band from the mid-60s that I also like, but I find isn't that well known*; on a side note, I think there was such a lot of good music coming out of that decade that so many bands went unknown) was covered by one of the bands whose music was a staple of my college years (again, a band that I find is rather unknown, too.)

She Lives (In A Time Of Her Own) - The 13th Floor Elevators

She Lives (In A Time If Her Own) (cover) - The Judybats

*I think this song by them, which is probably their best-known, might be familiar to people. Just listen to that sound, will you? This is 45 years ago--but that bass is amazing (reminds me a lot of the rolling bass of Barracuda and all the others like it--that came long after this song). And the electric jug, to boot!

You're Gonna Miss Me - The 13th Floor Elevators
