Me and Mr. Jones

I've talked several times before about what a musical genius Brian Jones was, and how highly I think of his artistic ability. More than anything, of course, I love how he incorporated all the different instruments that others would have scoffed at into what were to become Rolling Stones' classics.

The various instruments and their placement in the different songs--which he played himself--are well documented so I won't bore you with what you can look up yourself. Instead, I'll just take advantage of what is [still] readily available on youtube and give you some of the better known songs.

You have to wonder about the things someone like that could accomplished, if he hadn't joined the 27 Club.
