What's the name of the game?

Delilah, apparently, and quite a popular one, too. You can thank the random thoughts that pop into my head for this one, as well (started from reflecting on the Cranberries' post to Cranberries' songs, to listing them in my head, to getting to Delilah, remembering another song by that name, and then another, and then another...).

Delilah - Tom Jones
You know, I think Tom Jones got better looking with age. Course, I haven't seen him--or, rather, a picture of him--in, oh, many years, so I suspect my image of him at his best looking is based on something from the late 80s.

Still, better looking than this, though.

Samson and Delilah - Middle of the Road
Shoot, I just realized I meant for this group's debut to be in another post all together. Oh well, the best laid plans and all...

Delilah - The Cranberries

The one that started it all!

Delilah - The Dresden Dolls
Thanks to WMG search and pull, I thought I was going to have to post the album version set against a video of Sims porn. You're welcome (unless, of course, that is how you do get your kicks.)

Update: WMG did indeed pull all album covers...except the Sims porn one, so far. Still, I found a good live version for now (which'll likely get pulled).
You know, now that I think about it, I'm kind of surprised someone like Amanda Palmer is prey to this. Sad.

Delilah - Queen
It's a well known fact--well among Queen fans, anyway!--that this was about Freddie Mercury's cat. Which isn't so strange, when you consider Brian May had penned a similarly themed song over a decade earlier. If you don't know that, though, the whole "when you pee all over my Chippendale suite" could take on a whole new connotation. Heh.

Hey There, Delilah - Plain White Ts

Actually first heard this on one of the music only channels in our cable lineup (I call it TVR, for TV Radio, but it probably has an actual proper term or name or something).

That's all I could think of, without cheating (aka googling). Got anymore
?
