Well, it's better than a poke in the eye

So, I am still trying to track down a copy of Perkasie's EP, but as I checking their MySpace page (I know, I know) to see when the next local show is going to be (not that it is any easier to pick up CDs, then, it appears from the comments) I saw a link from a fan to a personal recording of one of their recent appearances singing, as luck would have, 'Old Design', which is possibly my favorite of all their songs.

So, unless you don't mind a heavily audience blocked viewing, with sup-bar audio, this probably won't interest you and is mostly for my own personal pleasure.

(First time I heard this, I was puzzled, because the sound, though clearly folk-rock, was at once both modern and yet reminiscient of early 70s folk-rock, and I probably spent the whole song trying to figure out who it was, instead of relaxing and just listening. Sometimes, my need to know gets badly in my way of my need to enjoy.)

(Another song of theirs was featured in this post, in case you missed it.)
